Dr. Holly Shulman founded Ceralink in January 2000 to evaluate and
implement commercially viable materials technologies. She worked in
R&D in the US, Switzerland, and New Zealand where her entrepreneurial
spirit led her from research to business. Dr. Shulman has over 20
years of industrial and research experience in a wide range of materials
including structural oxide and non-oxide ceramics, electroceramics
and glass. Her worldwide contacts allow her global networking advantages.
Dr. Shulman is experienced at putting deals together including joint
ventures, acquisitions, and technology licensing. She believes strongly
in collaboration and win-win relationships. She has brought powerful
multi company teams together to deliver innovative solutions and products
to Ceralink's clients. Explore our resource library for some example

and two pending.

Patricia brings many years of business experience to Ceralink. Her multifaceted skills include business management, finance, contracts, marketing and new business development. Patricia has served as Ceralink's core business resource since its inception in 2001. Her ability to build an infrastructure from the ground up, successfully manage a wide range of support functions, and target new opportunities has been fundamental to Ceralink's success.
Patricia's key responsibilities could be summarized as "grow the company." She is responsible for developing and implementing Ceralink's business strategy. Patricia oversees and monitors all aspects of the company, and she is responsible for ensuring that Ceralink's business growth opportunities are realized. Patricia has a relentless focus on Ceralink's core deliverables, such as driving revenues by bringing useful technologies to industry; serving clients in an ethical, fair and useful manner, and maintaining a company environment that supports and promotes personal growth.
Patricia's strong business and analytical abilities, as well as her experience in team leadership and project management, are instrumental in gauging and guiding Ceralink's development as a company. Patricia's training in the U. S. Marine Corps assures that Ceralink projects are in line and on time.

Morgana

Operations Engineer

Morgana is Ceralink's project manager, and oversees activities in
the Microwave Testing Center. Morgana is an exceptional engineer with
7 years of experience in microwave materials interactions. She is
an expert in Microwave Assist Technology (MAT™) and oversees
the design and building of MAT™ kilns and furnaces. Morgana graduated
with a BS in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University. She joined
Ceralink as co-op engineer in 2001. Morgana holds one patent, with
two pending in the areas of RF glass lamination, platinum recycling,
and microwave powder metals.

Shawn heads Ceralink's efforts on government proposals and contracts.
He is experienced at proposal writing and securing funding for our
clients. Shawn's strengths also include hands on engineering, problem
solving, and process development. He is an inventor on one patent
for microwave metals and holds another patent with Sandia National
Laboratories, and has one patent pending.

Nick Vandervoort
Materials Engineer
Nick Vandervoort has returned to Ceralink as a full time engineer, after completing a Bachelors of Science in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University. In 2007, Nick performed an eight month co-op at Ceralink, which included successful development of a high temperature microwave susceptor composition. Nick is in charge of running major aspects of Ceralink’s commercial and government projects, in addition to assistance with grant writing. Nick’s keen eye for promising new ideas backed with his dedication to research make him a great addition to the Ceralink team.

Technical Specialist
Inessa has 8 years industrial experience as a process engineer and
designer. She specializes in computer assisted design of plastics
and industrial processes. Inessa joined the Ceralink team in 2006.
Education: M.S. Mechanical Engineering, Belarusian Polytechnic Academy,
Minsk, Belarus (1985), B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Belarusian Polytechnic

Tyler Gubb
Co-op Engineer
Tyler Gubb, a junior Ceramic and Electrical engineer from Alfred University, joined Ceralink in June 2010 as a co-op engineer. With a strong interest in materials science and electrical systems, Tyler hopes to apply skills acquired during his co-op to develop ultra-high performance electroceramics, multifunctional and scalable composite material systems, and innovative solutions to problems while keeping efficiency and performance in mind. Tyler has performed research and lab work for professors at Alfred University which included powder processing, colloidal behavior, and materials characterization.

Matthew Elmer, a junior Materials Science engineering student at Alfred University is completing an eight month co-op at Ceralink. Matt’s responsibilities include conducting research for commercial and government projects, in addition, Matt hopes to pursue research of personal interest within the scope of advanced materials. During his time at Ceralink Matt will gain valuable experience through hands on work in powder processing, Microwave Assist Technology, and engineering professionalism.

Michelle has just completed her first year at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Technology with a major in engineering. She joined the Ceralink team for the summer of 2010. Michelle will be assisting Ceralink personnel both in the laboratory and the office. Michelle was planning to declare Mechanical engineering as her field of study; however research projects at Ceralink have piqued her interest in pursuing a Materials Science and engineering degree.

Eric is executive assistant to the CEO where he provides high level support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as maintaining and organizing files, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, and scheduling meetings.
Eric has 3 years experience working in the financial sector where he has held positions including teller and loan officer, and gained valuable experience in customer service, lending and business development. Eric is highly motivated and detail oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills. His skills and financial background are an asset to Ceralink.
